Tidal Series — Blue Burl Damascus Set
Most knife sets look the part. The Tidal Series Blue Burl performs it.
At the core of every blade is VG10 high-carbon steel — the same material trusted in professional kitchens worldwide — wrapped in 67 layers of hand-folded Damascus. The result is a blade with exceptional edge retention, striking wave-pattern aesthetics, and the kind of balance that makes a two-hour prep session feel effortless.
The handles are crafted from blue burl resin — each one uniquely patterned, NSF food-safe certified, and shaped for a secure grip through extended use. Whether you’re breaking down a whole chicken or slicing paper-thin carpaccio, this set was built for the task.

Customer Reviews
As high quality as you'd expect for the price. They come very sharp, and after using them for a couple months, we're very happy with them. They're using a common damascus method these days where they forge an outer damascus layer over a very high quality steel core. People saying they're engraved are incorrect, but the pattern near the blade looks different because of that process, so I understand why people are confused. They're real damascus. If I could offer one critique it's that the contrast in the damascus could increased.

Beautiful very sharp best knives I've ever used!
Good quality for a reasonable price.
These knives are SUPER sharp, and hold an edge much better than any stainless steel set I've owned in 42years! And they look good, too!
