Every knife we make is one we'd put in our own kitchen. We stand behind that commitment with a clear, no-fine-print guarantee.
The Promise
If any knife handle in your set fails under normal kitchen use within 12 months of purchase, we'll refund the cost of that knife.
That's it. No proof of when. No questions about how. No runaround.
How to Make a Claim
- Take a photo of the damaged handle
- Find your order number (Amazon order ID or your confirmation email)
- Send both to us — either through Amazon Buyer-Seller Messaging or our contact form below
We'll process your refund within 1-2 business days. You'll get an automatic confirmation when it goes through.
What's Covered
- Handle delamination (the wood and resin coming apart)
- Handle separating from the blade
- Handle cracking under normal kitchen use
What's Not Covered (To Be Straight With You)
- Damage from using the knife as a pry bar, can opener, or hammer
- Damage from running it through the dishwasher (please don't)
- Damage from cutting bone, frozen food, or hard surfaces
- Knives purchased from third-party resellers (not from us directly or our Amazon storefront)

Our Promise has a defined window, but our customer care doesn't. We've worked with customers years after their original purchase. If something's not right with your knife — even outside the 12-month window — please reach out. We'll figure out how to make it right.
Why We Offer This
We're a family-owned brand. A knife is a long-term tool — something you reach for every day. Buying one shouldn't feel like a gamble. The Epicurean Promise is our way of putting our money where our mouth is: if our knife doesn't hold up, we'll make it right.
We could hide behind a 30-day return window like everyone else. We've chosen not to.
